Team car allocations will be based on NRS Team Series Ranking. The convoy order will be allocated after the NRS Series Leaders have been updated following the results of Day 2’s Criterium. The convoy order will be revised each day thereafter based on the revised NRS Series results following each days racing.

This structure is our starting position for Day 3’s racing. For us to ensure this amount of vehicles is sustained for each Road Race we need to ensure we follow the following principles:

·        Vehicles must drive as far left as possible

·        Vehicles are not to cross an unbroken line to advance forward

·        Movement from the rear of the peloton to the front of race will be very limited, with the following to apply:

o   Access to pass the peloton will only be where we have wide stretches of road and no single or double unbroken lines

o   Option to deviate of course by taking an alternative route to get ahead of the peloton

o   Option to pull to the left and let the convoy pass, then take a U-Turn and head in the opposite direction to the cyclist. Once you have reached the lead police car, pull to the left and park (in the direction of the race until the lead riders come through

o   If leaving the convoy turn off your amber flashing light

o   Any deviation from the convoy order must be communicated through Race Radio

o   If not in the Convoy, all road rules must be followed

·        All servicing for feed shall be performed on the right hand side of the vehicle (static feeding for the left hand side of the road in the locations designated on the Technical Guide)

·        All servicing for mecical and mechanical is to be carried out on the left hand side of the road in a static manor, this cannot be done from a moving vehicle

·        Riders to return to the peloton on the ride hand side of vehicles

·        As we are using a number of team cars to undertake neutral service and medical, it will be important for the team cars in traditional roles to support their riders, especially at times where these cars are forward of the peloton and maybe forward with Comm 1 during barraging. Likewise the neutral cars at the front of race are to service riders of teams who are behind the peloton

o   Teams need to work together once the convoy order is released to coordinate yourselves to ensure no rider is left disadvantaged during the race.

·        The NRS guidelines/regulations for follow vehicles is to be enforce
